The Spiral

The Spiral

Here's one interpretation.

The Spiral is present in the natural world, from large shells on the beach to tiny galaxies in the sky. It uses its beautiful coiled serpentine shape as a tool for development and change. The Spiral can be seen as a map for self-discovery, leading to expansion into the cosmos. Consider giving up control and follow the path until the old paradigm dissolves and a new reality is born.

When this card appears, here are a few actions you might consider.

You are called to remove your old skin to regenerate yourself. Embrace your new skin wholeheartedly. Once you’ve shed your old skin, do not think of it again. Stop focusing on your flaws and let nature take its course. Be aware that in the beginning fresh skin may feel alien, vulnerable, and fragile. But this will fade in time. Simply have faith in the medicine of the Spiral, as it directs your restorative healing journey.

If this card appears upside down or reversed, and you choose to include its position as part of your reading, here's what it could mean.

The Spiral heralds a journey into a new beginning. Nothing should stand in the way of this transformative process. The moment is right, and the powers of nature are on your side. Consider this exercise. Build a spiral with at least 3 turns on the ground using stones, twigs, or yarn. This should be big enough for you to walk through. From the outside edge, enter the Spiral. Walk towards the center. Once there, give the emotions or circumstances which no longer serve you to the soil. Imagine roots coming up from the earth, receiving this. Give Gratitude for Pachmama for transforming this energy. Afterwards, walk back the way you came. You should feel recharged for the path ahead. Feel more Gratitude and Love.
