Taming the Wind

Taming the Wind

Here's one interpretation.

The feather asks you to make a sacred pledge to your life. The feather is often used in smudging and clearing rituals. It intentionally invites the spiritual to infuse the physical. This is done with respect and recognition of the higher planes or other worlds, which are able to influence this physical world. These other realms help to support life.

The feather can be used to blend spirituality and the physical world. As you intentionally collaborate with the Great Spirit you can co-create for your and other people’s higher good.

You are called to purify your energy, become more present, and become more aware of your communication style. This is an excellent time to write and organize your thoughts in your journal. Smudge to create a sacred space. Then write down your aspirations, goals, and dreams. By doing so you are preparing yourself to co-create with the Great Spirit. Know that when Taming the Wind manifests as a symbol, it is time to honor the Great Spirit.

If this card appears upside down or reversed, and you choose to include its position as part of your reading, here's what it could mean.

You are called to resolve any issues you may have had with others. After a quarrel, set the record straight and also allow people to express themselves. Listen intently with an open heart. Really feel and understand the other person’s point of view. The time is not now to be correct and ‘win’. This is the moment to understand. Restraining your unconscious thoughts and words will help to produce a favorable outcome. Acknowledge, understand, and feel all viewpoints for a swift mutually beneficial resolution.
